Meditation
is a way to experience the ultimate. Meditation is a
song without words. It is about discovering the blessedness,
the innocence, the grace that is lying hidden within
us. It is the journey from outer to within, from periphery
to the center. It is dance of life. It is a state, which
is devoid of all states. Gurumaa invites everybody to
the world of Dhyana. Dhyana answers all the queries.
Mind is to be channelized, not tamed and the techniques
discussed below provides for channelization of mind
and body. Gurumaa’s meditation techniques can
be broadly classified into active and passive.

Active Meditation techniques |
Oorja
Meditation
This
forms the active breathing technique. Every meditation
starts with prayer to divine because prayerfulness induces
compassion and surrender in the seeker. Through prayer
seeker asks the divine to hold his hands and take him
to the journey within because he is moving on a path,
which is absolutely new to him. He surrenders himself
to divine and prays to follow the techniques with pure
sincerity. From beginning to end it is divine that guides
him.
The pace of breath is first deepened to clear body
from all toxins, then after practicing deep breathing
for sometime the pace of breath is made to increase.
Under this stage a seeker is asked to “let
go”. A technique designed to release repressed
emotions, opening a way to new vitality.
Finally a seeker is asked to stop all the catharsis
and an experience of profound silence surrounds the
seeker.
The technique concludes itself with deep thankfulness
to divine without whom the above experience wouldn’t
have been possible.
Throughout the technique melodious alchemy of various
instruments, percussions follow the seeker, matching
the pace with his slow and fast breath. Thus being instrumental
in making a seeker to take a deeper plunge in mysteries
of inner ecstasy.
Waheguru (SIMRAN)
A method of harmonizing and retaining the inner
balance through humming and chanting technique, matching
it with the frequency of heart. In above technique the
mantra “Waheguru” is used and unbreakably
given to the seeker through which dormant energies are
revitalized redirecting the seeker to inward journey.
Ram Ras
Every meditation technique of Gurumaa begins
with a prayer and ends with it too. In this technique
seeker is introduced to free flowing nectar through
the mantra Ram accompanied
by percussions and various other ancient and unique
instruments. A seeker goes through vigorous clapping
or body movements making him enter in the state of exploding
ecstasy. And when the seeker has ventilated all the
negative emotions, he realizes the perfect inner space
devoid of all thoughts.
Pranav
A very ancient technique now updated by Gurumaa for the
21st century. It starts with a very silent chanting of
universal sound energy ‘Om’ which then slowly
changes its form into humming, finally followed by a very
little kirtan. As the seeker gets more and more involved
in the above technique he starts feeling the settlement
of mental chatter and discovers the experience of pure
witnessing.
Shiv Namokar
This technique can be broadly divided into eternal
chanting and dynamic
chanting. It starts with prayer to Lord Mahadeva, the
first guru of universe invoking the universal life force
lying dormant within a seeker. Seeker is introduced
to continuous melodious soulful chanting. In dynamic
chanting certain recitation of shlokas, rather poetry,
praising the blissful state of Lord Shiva is offered.
Slowly the listener disappears and only listening remains,
taking the seeker to heightened awareness and exploding
silence.

Mudra meditation
In
this meditation technique heart and its emotions are
given preferences, through this meditation the positive
thoughts are given a push, making a seeker blissfully
settle in the rising consciousness of his mind and heart.
This technique directs us to certain hand postures through
which a seeker channelizes the blocked energy and thus
an automatic circle is created in which the negativity
of mind and body is thrown out and the positivity is
received from universe enhancing the awareness of mind
and body.
The above technique also concludes itself with prayer
evoking the deep thankfulness to divine.
Music - A very sort out music is given to attune the
seeker with inner rhythms.
Nishkriya
Meditation
A technique originating with Gautam Buddha
updated by Gurumaa for modern day pacers. It is a method
that involves silent witnessing of the thought process,
against the backdrop of light music. One of the greatest
gifts by Gurumaa to her seekers. It induces relaxation,
alertness and a let go attitude.
